Grave Diggers

Brief: They dig graves
In search of graveyard stew
Only to find little stew
And bitter taste
Destruction they find
Death they create
Loose Picks and Shovels
Looming disaster

They dig graves
In search of graveyard stew
Only to find little stew
And bitter taste
Destruction they find
Death they create
Loose Picks and Shovels
Looming disaster

It's naive to burn a forest for mice
You don't burn your hut to kill cockroaches

Penny wise
Pound foolish
Who benefits from digging?
How big is your catch?
At best how much do you gain?
At worst how much do you lose?
How dare you pawn the country's environment for packet of sugar?
The whole community is endangered for your selfish gains
Gains that are short lived
People over profit

The whole country is now chickenpox infested
With your holes that you dig everywhere everytime.
What's in it for the community?
What's in it for the country?
What's in it for nature?
One environment we have
One Earth we have

Are you going to be champions of destruction?
Are you going to betray people's lives for pieces of gold, silver and diamond?
Surely are you going to be Judas?
Selling Jesus for thirty pieces of silver
While digging his spiritual grieve

How far are you willing to go to make a sell?
How far are going to dig?
How wide are you will to spread?
How big are you willing to wreck?
These graves you digging
Will bury you first
These are death traps
This cancerous disease
That Makorokozas are spreading, has reached an advanced stage
It's either we cut the breast
or the breast goes down with the whole body

The choice is ours
The power is ours
The shame is ours
The suffering will be ours
Let's not sell honey to buy sugar
Or even olive oil to buy cooking oil
It doesn't make sense
Action makes sense
Sense sparks action
